Thoughtful Guidance & Consulting

Not every situation comes with a clear answer.

Some moments require more than quick advice or surface-level solutions. They require space to think, perspective to understand what's really happening, and clarity about what comes next.

That's where thoughtful guidance can make a difference.

What This Is

I offer one-on-one and organizational guidance for individuals, families, and leaders navigating important decisions, transitions, or complex situations.

This is not about telling people what to do.

It's about helping them think clearly, understand their options, and move forward with confidence.

Who This Is For

This work is often helpful for people who are:

  • Navigating a leadership challenge or difficult decision
  • Supporting a family member through change or uncertainty
  • Working through a transition—personally or professionally
  • Trying to make sense of a situation that feels unclear or overwhelming
  • Looking for perspective from someone who has experience working through real-life complexity

My Approach

My approach is grounded in listening, experience, and perspective.

I focus on helping people:

  • See their situation clearly
  • Understand what matters most
  • Identify practical next steps
  • Move forward without feeling overwhelmed

There are no scripts or one-size-fits-all solutions—just thoughtful conversation and steady guidance.

Experience & Background

My work is shaped by more than two decades of experience in higher education leadership, where I've supported individuals and organizations through a wide range of challenges and decisions.

It is also informed by my background in ministry, where I worked closely with individuals and families navigating growth, change, and difficult moments.

More recently, my experience as a caregiver—supporting my own mother—has added a deeper, more personal dimension to this work.

I am also certified through Age Safe America as a Senior Home Safety Specialist, providing additional perspective for those navigating aging and caregiving decisions.

What a Conversation Might Look Like

Conversations are simple and focused.

We talk through what's happening, explore what matters most, and identify next steps that feel realistic and manageable.

Sometimes clarity comes quickly. Other times, it takes a little more space.

Either way, the goal is the same: helping you move forward with greater confidence and understanding.

If you're facing a situation where it would be helpful to talk things through with someone who brings both experience and perspective, you're welcome to reach out.

You don't have to have everything figured out before starting the conversation.
